Michael "Bear" Adams

Michael A. “Bear” Adams, 66, of Baden, formerly of New Brighton, unexpectedly passed away early Monday morning October 28, 2019, in Heritage Valley, Beaver, with his family by his side.

Born February 25, 1953 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Michael Adams and Ann (Grillo) Adams. Mike was a graduate of New Brighton High School class of 1971. He was recently retired from TMK Ipsco Tubular Mill, Ambridge. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Conway.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by his son, Mick Adams and his sister, Dorothy Williams.

Mike was devoted to his family. Anyone who knew Mike would remember him as a kind, helpful, loving, and caring man. He always had a smile for everyone he met.

Survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Donna, beloved daughter, Jamie (Jon) Philippou, loving Pap to granddaughter Samantha (Nathan) Harr, and Pappy and Buddy to Talia (Tally) Philippou. Great grandchildren Sage, Micah, and Malaki Harr.

He is also survived by his loving sister, Nancy (David) Harper, New Brighton. Several nieces, nephews, their families, and cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 1, 2019, from 2pm to 8pm in the J & J SPRATT  FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Thrid Ave, New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com where prayers will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 10:30am followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:00am at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Conway. Fr. Mike Roche officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton
