Nancy L. (Hartwick) Busch Sutej

Nancy (Hartwick) Busch Sutej, 73, of New Brighton, passed away Monday January 11, 2021 at Heritage Valley Beaver following a brief illness.

Born April 13, 1947 in New Brighton a daughter of the late Robert and Bernadine (Shields) Hartwick. She was a retired registered nurse for Good Samaritan Hospice and was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, St. Cecilia Parish. She was known as “MEMES” to Angela Busch, Levi, Isaac, Bruce and Jessie Walton.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph M. Sutej, June 9, 2020 and her first husband David L. Busch, March 12, 1996.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law Dave and Emily Busch, New Brighton, one daughter and son-in-law Megan and Scott Walton, Versailles, KY, five grandchildren, two sisters and brothers-in-law Mary Sue and Jim Just, Ruther Glen, VA, Terry and Dave Stuber, New Brighton, one brother and sister-in-law Robb and Amy Hartwick, New Brighton, several nieces, nephews and their families.

Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton and Saturday from 9:00am until time of prayer at 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian burial 10:00am in St. Cecilia Parish with the Rev. Fr. Paul Kuppe officiating.

Inurnment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
