Nicholas (Nick) Andrew Campagna, 76 of New Brighton passed away Saturday January 21, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.
Nick was born December 16, 1946 in McKeesport, Pa., the son of the late Mary Campagna & Theodore Campagna. Nick was a 1964 graduate of Monaca High School where he played several different sports. He was currently retired. Prior to retirement spent 30 years as Manager of the New Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe & 17 years at Powers Auto Sales. After retiring he worked briefly at Top Golf in Bridgeville where he made a new family with lasting friendships. In his free time, he spent many hours on the golf course with good friends. He was a member of several leagues including: Oak Hill Vets, New Brighton Eagles, Westinghouse/Cutler Hammer, The Syndicate, New Brighton Croatian Club & his most Loved Get A Way Golf Group. He spent several years as an active member of the NB Rotary where he served as President and was a Paul Harris Fellow. Nick previously served on the NB Planning Commission and most recently served until his passing as New Brighton 5th Ward Councilman.
He is survived by his loving wife Judy Campagna, two daughters: Lori Campagna and Nicole Campagna, two granddaughters: Hanna Csoman (Jake Shoaff) and Lexi Campagna. Family of the heart: Jim, Tonia, Christopher & Cameron (Callie Hoffman) McCarthy. Dear friends: Sue Grossetti & Charlie and Donna Ramer along with a Dear cousin Melissa Lazarus.
Friends will be welcomed from 3-8pm, Wednesday, in the J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Ave, New Brighton. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am, at Westminster United Presbyterian Church, 115 N Mercer Ave, New Brighton, with Pastor Robert Saul and Father Tom Kredel officiating.
The family would like to extend an invitation to join them for a luncheon to follow the service.
