Patricia A. (Gaff) Irwin, 65, of New Brighton, passed away Sunday May 17, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital UPMC, Pittsburgh.
Born February 10, 1955 in Canton, OH a daughter of the late Martin and Olga (Mulig) Gaff. Patty had worked for McDonald's, Baden and the Rosalind's Candy Castle, New Brighton. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, the F.O.E. 1342 and was a trustee and member of the United Croatian Club all of New Brighton. Patty was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years Jeff T. Irwin, two daughters Stacy Irwin Westerman and her husband Jim, Ashley Irwin, two beloved grandchildren Skylar and Sierra Westerman, who were the light of her life, all of New Brighton, one sister Susan and husband Don Johnston, Coshocton, OH, one brother Martin and wife Millie Gaff, Canton, OH, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Doris Garrett and Dolores Miller.
Due to Covid19 pandemic, family visitation will be held today in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton, where prayers will be held Saturday followed by family Mass of Christian burial at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Brighton.
Interment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
In lieu of flowers the family wish memorials be made in her name to either the American Diabetes Assoc., or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
