Regina A. (Roush) Cater

Regina A. Cater, 70, of North Sewickley Twp., passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.

Born May 13, 1952, in Beaver Falls, she is the daughter of the late Robert and Carrie (Funkhouser) Roush.  Regina was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church, Beaver Falls where she was in the Choir and Bell’s Choir.  She was a Stephen Minister and loved to sing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Roush.

Surviving is her loving husband of 41 years, Jim Cater; children, Wesley Davidson, North Sewickley, April (Travis) Skavenski, Beaver Falls, Caleb Ritter, North Sewickley; five grandchildren who was dear to her heart, Anthony Russell, Gracie and Lucy Skavenski,  Khyler and Zhayne Monac,; four siblings, Dan (Alice) Roush, Lititz, Pa; Julie (Ron) Yeager, Ellport, James (Maribeth) Roush, Cheswick, Pa,  Heather Barr, New Brighton, several nieces, nephews and their families, and a longtime friend, Donna Johnson.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton.   Regina will lie in state Saturday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the Concord United Methodist Church, 285 Concord Church Road, Beaver Falls, Pa. followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery, North Sewickley.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the St. Monica Angel Fund, 609 10th Street, Beaver Falls, Pa 15010.
