Robert A. Fabyanic, 76, of North Sewickley Twp., passed away suddenly at his home after a brief illness.
Born February 3, 1946, in Beaver Falls a son of the late Ivan W. Sr. and Elizabeth (Young) Fabyanic. He was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a former assistant fire chief for New Brighton Volunteer Fire Dept, serving out of Fire Co. #3, Bob was also a member of the K of C, Council #603 and a volunteer at Grove Cemetery Maintenance Dept. He was a member of the F.O.E. #1342, New Brighton and a graduate of New Brighton High School, Class of 1964. Bob lastly retired from the New Brighton Area Schools from the maintenance dept.
Survived by his wife of 57 years Sandy (Pellis) Fabyanic, three children son Bryan (Julie) Fabyanic, New Brighton, daughter Laura (Jim) Schooley, Cranberry Twp., son Brad (Renee) Fabyanic, New Brighton, eight grandchildren Zachary (Erin) Gould, Lucas (Jada) Gould, Mackenzie Gould, Nicholas Fabyanic, Kyle Fabyanic, Brianna (Adam) Rombold, Chelsea Fabyanic and Ivan (Jaelee) Fabyanic, one great grandson Lorenzo Gould, two brothers Ivan (Carol) Fabyanic Jr., Richard (Toni) Fabyanic, two sisters Patty (Joe) Woroszylo, Donna Fabyanic, many nieces, nephews and God Children.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton, where prayers will be held Wednesday at 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am in Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Catholic Church, 521 7th Avenue, New Brighton.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
