Obituary
Robert R. Garmen, 87, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.
Born January 30, 1936, in Beaver Falls, PA, he is the son of the late Robert C. and Thelma (Dixon) Garmen. Robert worked for Metropolitan Life and then retired from the Beaver School District where he worked in maintenance. Outside of work, Robert was a devoted family man and friend. He loved spending time with his loved ones and was always there to offer a listening ear or a kind word of encouragement. Robert will dearly be missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Burt.
Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Mary (Goehring) Garmen; four daughters, Deborah (John) Zingaro, New Sewickley, Diana Garmen, New Brighton, Denise (Mark) Pullinger, Daugherty Twp., Donna (Robert) Wright, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; brother, John (Betsy) Garmen, Zelienople; several nieces, nephews, and their families.
All services were private.
The family would like to thank Providence Care Center for the loving care they provided to Robert.
