Robert Pflugh, 89, died at home Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, after he lost his battle with cancer.
He was born February 4, 1934, in North Sewickley Twp, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (Shaffer) Pflugh. He served in The United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He retired after 35 years from the former Babcock & Wilcox Steel Co. He also worked after retirement at Koppel Steel, Uddeholm Steel and Lancy. He was a member of Unionville United Methodist Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He also loved to hunt, fish, bowl and golf.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years Charlotte (Gray), son Robert (Jake) Pflugh, brother John Pflugh and brother-in-law William Gray.
He is survived by his children Deborah (Michael) Catalano of New Sewickley Twp, Timothy (Linda) Pflugh of Puyallup, WA, and John Pflugh of Hollywood, MD. and his five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Timothy (Rachelle) Lucas and Jackson Pflugh of Maple Valley, WA, Edward (Maggie) Ellie and Jake Pflugh of Newmarket, NH, Robert (JoAnn) Grayson Pflugh of Bonney Lake, WA, Jonathan Pflugh of Edgewood, WA, and Monica (Jarred) Blake and Ashton Peterson of Fort Collins, Co. and his in-laws Michael (Jacque) Gray of Fombell, Bobbi Jo (Richard) Lapishka of Baden and Nancy Gray in addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private family viewing and service was held at J. J Spratt Funeral Home in New Brighton and officiated by Pastor Alan Morrison and Pastor Doug Myers.
