Rodney Marshall, 55, formerly from New Brighton, died unexpectedly on September 22, 2021 in Franklin PA.
Rodney was born March 8, 1966 in Santa Monica, CA a son of the late Donald and
Verna (Temple) Marshall. He worked for many years with the New Brighton Borough Street Department.
He is survived by his beloved children, Joshua Marshall of Coraopolis, PA, Rebecca Marshall of New Brighton PA, his future daughter in law, Megan Rumbaugh of Coraopolis, Pa, sister Donna Musgrave Colorado and brother James Marshall of Florida, his children’s mother Elizabeth Marshall, New Brighton, PA and many special nieces and nephews.
Rodney enjoyed riding his Harley and fishing with his daughter. He spent many hours at the ice arena watching his son play hockey. He loved music, especially when listening to his daughter sing and seeing his son’s band. He showed off his own musical skills in a few memorable karaoke performances. He was known for his sense of humor and had a way of making people laugh. He was adored by many and will be fondly remembered.
He was preceded in death by a brother Jack George and several more siblings.
There will be no viewing. Friends will be received Wednesday for a memorial visitation from 4:00pm until time of Celebration of Life at 7:00pm in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton, with the Rev. Bill Blume officiating.
