Sarah (Grubb) Conley

Sarah (Grubb) Conley, 80, of New Brighton, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver.
Born August 7, 1939, in Wytheville, Va., a daughter of the late Keller and Lenora (Smith) Grubb. Sarah was a dedicated homemaker and a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of New Brighton, where she had taught Bible school and was a member of the Hand Bell Choir.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Harold "Whitey" Conley; one son and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Mary Jo Conley, Chippewa; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Neal Porter and Cynthia and Michael Harb, all of Beaver; nine grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda) Conley, Jason (Suzanne) Conley, Sean (Emily) Conley, Lindsay (Matt) Baker, Matthew Porter, Jocelyn (Eric) South, Brittany (Vinny) Bologna, Samantha Giannetti and Brandon Harb; great-grandchildren, Harrison, Landon, Clark, Frederick, Ava, and Sullivan Conley, Nolan and Olivia Baker, Xavier and Bryce South and Dean Bologna; one brother, Howard Grubb, Rocky Ridge, Md.; one sister, Charlotte Saunders, Frederick, Md.; dear friend, Donna Mae Derbaum, New Brighton; many nieces, nephews and their families; her church family; and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lauren Michele Porter and five brothers Olen, Leo, Duane, C.L. and Elmo Grubb.
Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com. Tuesday friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 10th Avenue, New Brighton, with the Rev. Angela Smith officiating.
Private interment will take place in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.
