Shawn P. Raab

Shawn P. Raab, 51, of Darlington Twp., passed away at home, peacefully with his family by his side.

Born August 18, 1971, in Brighton Twp., PA., he is the son of Ronald L. Raab Sr. and the late Sally (Smith) Raab.  Shawn’s firefighter career started out as a member of the Patterson Twp. Fire Company. After his service there he started his 25 years to become a life member of the Darlington Twp. VFD.  He worked for Giant Eagle, Chippewa as a meat cutter.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; aunt, Marsha Scale; brother-in-law, Dwight Spann Sr.; daughter-in-law, Heather Weatherford.

Surviving is his loving wife of 25 years, Susan (Spann) Raab; son, Tim House; four grandchildren, Kristyn Kruise, Zack, Tori, and Blake House; Brothers, Ron (Jonell) Raab, Doug (Missy) Raab; his dog and faithful companion, Daisy. Aunts, Uncles, sisters-in- law, brothers-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, and his In laws; Robert D.Spann and LuValta K. Spann. Also, his Fire Department family.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 2p.m. in the Darlington Twp. Fire Department.

He will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
