Theodore R. Masson, 87, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday January 8, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
Born January 17, 1932, in Beaver Falls, he was a son of the late Phillip and Hazel (Hoefling) Masson. He was a veteran of the US Army, having fought in the Korean War. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, New Brighton. After over 40 years he retired from B&W Steel. An avid photographer, he was a member of various photography clubs, as well as numerous historical and genealogical societies.
Surviving are his son, Dean Masson (Kelly Adams), daughters, Lynn Masson, and Lisa (Donny) Turbeville, sisters, Patty (Joe) Turconi, and JoAnn Smith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine, son, Donald, brother, Jack, and longtime companion, Gertie Donawitz.
Friends will be received Saturday from 10 am until time of service at 12pm, in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Ave, New Brighton.
Private interment will follow at Grove Cemetery.
Members of the Beaver County Special Unit are asked to meet at the funeral home at 11:45, to provide full military honors.
