Thomas McMunn Obituary

Thomas P. McMunn, 60, of Beaver Falls, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Heritage Valley, Beaver. Born February 7, 1961 in New Kensington, he was the son of the late William and Catherine (Mizenko) McMunn. Thomas was a kind and loving person and is the reason why so many people and his family loved him so much. Either though his heart started to fail him he still took care of other people. He was a lawn mower repairman when he needed to be and volunteered at the Phoenix afterwards. He married his first wife and later they divorced. He moved to Beaver County shortly afterwards and began being friends with Pastor Bill Blume of Faith-to-Faith Church in Rochester. He made a lifelong friend in Rhonda Shelski and knew her for over 20 years. He began to have health problems and later applied for social security. His health continued to decline and had more problems then had a heart attack but still continued to go on. He met his wife Linda and they began a wonderful marriage together. Thomas loved Linda unconditionally. He treasured her and loved her with all of his heart. He continued to volunteer at many places with her and could fix anything. He would go out of his way to help anyone. He had a rough life but was truly and angel here on earth. He was Catholic by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Clara Mae McMunn and seven siblings. Surviving is his wife, Linda (Gaido) Vetterly; three children, Cathy, Jenny and Thomas McMunn; two brothers, Ed and Bo McMunn; two sisters, Jenny Smith and Samantha Wesner. There will be no services and per his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements by J & J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave, New Brighton, Pa 15066.
