Victor A. Capo Sr., 74 of New Brighton, passed away Saturday October 9. 2021 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born March 20, 1947 in New Brighton a son of the late Anthony and Mary (Spiegle) Capo. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with U. S. Army. He was retired form Nova Chemical where he worked as a material handler. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Holy Family Church, New Brighton and was also a member of the S.O.I., Rochester Elks and the Oak Hill Vets. He was a loving father, who cared for everyone and will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother and father he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Sandra Capo, July 29, 2018 and his sister Gloria Nicholson.
Survived by two sons Victor (Tess) Capo Jr. and David (Tammy) Capo, one brother and sister-in-law Lou and Carol Capo and their son Anthony Capo, all of New Brighton, several cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton, where prayer will be held Friday at 10:30am followed by Mass of Christian burial at11:00am in Our Lady of the Valley, Holy Family Church, 521 7th Avenue, New Brighton.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, New Brighton.
In lieu of flowers the family wish donations be made in his name to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Members of the VVA #862 will meet in the cemetery at 11:30am to provide full military honors
