William A. Pullinger, 96, of New Brighton, passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021 at Franciscan Manor, Beaver Falls.
Born March 25, 1925 in Beaver Falls, he was a son of the late William C. and Rose (DeFalcis) Pullinger. He was a veteran of WWII serving as a corporal with the HQ 36th Fighter Group of the U.S. Army Air Force. He retired from Panel Frame Division of Shenango Steel Buildings where he was the Shop Foreman.
Throughout his retirement years, Bill continued to use his God-given talents creating many inventions and home improvements in his wood shop. Early in retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his wife Carolyn and friends Fred and Sarah Kolb boating in Deep Creek, MD. More recently, he just loved going out to eat with family and friends (as often as possible). A truly a unique individual with an incredible sense of humor, Bill will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother and father he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn (Phillips) Pullinger on December 29, 2011, three sisters Flora (Henry) Berk, Clare (Stanley) Nalitz and Ida (John) Naples and one brother Albert (Catherine) Pullinger.
